The magic link allows you to view it at any or night.

This particular online experience is a mere 60 minutes in length.  Easy to fit into your busy schedule.

The cost you ask?   No charge for SERLS members...a mere $15.00 for all other libraries.  Enjoy.

Competency: Learning and Innovation

Sub-Topic: Seeks exposure to new ideas, both within and beyond the library field

In an increasingly visual world, stunning graphic design is a necessity.

Most tight library budgets cannot accommodate luxury designer firms.

Even then, graphics often need to be amended at the drop of a hat. Luckily, beautiful graphic design isn’t difficult—or expensive!

In this program, we’ll show you how to utilize web resources to fulfill your design dreams.

We’ll introduce you to the website Canva to make slideshows, flyers, and social media posts at little to no cost to your organization.

We’ll also discuss how to use Creative Commons and other free image databases to avoid issues of copyright infringement.

Attendees will learn how to:

  • Navigate and create documents using Canva
  • Supplement those resources with Creative Commons
  • Discover advanced (free) photo editing opportunities through Pixlr

 SERLS Member Libraries: $0.00

All Other Libraries: $15.00
