Adults age 50 and up are often avid library users and supporters … but libraries often don’t give them the programming and support they provide other age groups. In this interactive and informative program, you will learn about trends and impacts of this important demographic and how your library can support community-building, lifelong learning and social engagement!  Attendees will learn gain:


An increased empathy and appreciation for themselves and others who are aging


Greater awareness of trends pertaining to aging (sociological, health, economic, technology, innovations)


Greater knowledge of possible library programs and services for older adults
